Solution Analyst for SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

Job Description Summary

Serve as the Solution Analyst for SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), performing Technical System Owner–like responsibilities for asset lifecycle, maintenance, and reliability solutions within STEP. You will safeguard the STEP Global Template for EAM, orchestrate build & run activities, and ensure compliant delivery and operation across projects — including validation, integration, security controls evidencing, and audit readiness.

Major accountabilities: 

• Template stewardship: act as template keeper for SAP S/4HANA EAM (PM/EAM); manage changes via change request and design review board; enforce standardization across sites. 

• Asset lifecycle & maintenance processes: own functional and technical solution design for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, asset master data, task lists, maintenance plans, work orders, and notifications within a regulated (GxP) environment.

• OEE & performance integration:lead integration of SAP EAM with OEE / performance monitoring solutions (e.g., OEE platforms), ensuring consistent asset hierarchies, downtime classifications, failure codes, and KPI alignment across systems.

• Electronic calibration & compliance: own integration with electronic calibration management systems (e calibration), ensuring compliant calibration planning, execution, results recording, deviation handling, and traceability between calibration tools, SAP EAM, and quality systems. 

• System integrations & interfaces: own EAM related integrations via SAP CPI with calibration applications, OEE applications, document management, and external service providers; ensure non functional requirements (performance, security, auditability).

• Validation ownership: plan and ensure delivery of validation deliverables per STEP SAP Validation & Quality Plans, including FRA/URS, FS/DS, IQ, OQ, PQ, summary reports, traceability matrices, and approvals in DMS.

• Testing orchestration: drive FUT, SIT, OQ, UAT, PQ; secure environments, data, and role provisioning; lead defect triage and sign offs.

• Security & compliance: drive application security activities (PT, pCMA) and provide evidence for all applicable Security Controls (IMF); ensure compliance and audit readiness.

• Service transition & operations: execute go-live handover to AMS, maintain runbooks/KPIs, coordinate DR planning & testing at S/4 platform level.

• Documentation & governance: maintain end to end documentation in DMS/Confluence and delivery tooling (Jira/ALM); ensure URS → FS/DS → Test → Release traceability and controlled RICEFW lifecycle.

• Responsible for performing all assigned activities in compliance with GxP regulations, company SOPs, and data integrity requirements

Minimum Requirements: 
Work Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with SAP PM / EAM in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA within GxP‑regulated manufacturing environments

• Hands‑on experience across the validation lifecycle (FRA/URS, FS/DS, IQ/OQ/PQ), including risk‑based testing and DMS usage

• Proven experience integrating SAP EAM with other applications (e.g. OEE, e-calibration).

• Strong understanding of change governance, RICEFW lifecycle, and Jira/ALM tooling

• Experience with SAP CPI or comparable integration platforms (e.g. Boomi, SAP MII)

 Skills:

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills in global, multi‑site programs

• Excellent documentation, release, and operational readiness discipline

Languages:

• English.

Education:

Bachelor’s Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
