Job Description:

Join Ipsen Wrexham at an exciting time, where you’ll contribute to the manufacture of novel and innovative oncology therapies. This is a unique opportunity to advance cutting-edge treatments, working at the forefront of science to deliver life-changing medicines for patients worldwide. We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Production Team Leader to lead a high-performing manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of daily operations—ensuring production is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while driving continuous improvement and developing your team. This is a temporary role until end of Dec 2027.

Key responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team to deliver strong performance and engagement
Ensure production schedules are achieved on time and in full
Maintain strict quality, compliance, and safety standards (cGMP & EHS)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance
Monitor KPIs and ensure accurate documentation and reporting

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Experience in a similar role from the pharma industry, ideally from aseptic manufacturing
Previous people management experience or a natural leader with the ability to lead successful teams
Ideally project management or tech transfer skills
