Join us, the future is ours to shape!As our Senior Regional Sales Manager (Northern Region), you will lead a team of experienced Medical Representatives to drive growth across Northern Malaysia (Penang, Ipoh) and East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak). You will be accountable for delivering performance across government and private hospital accounts, while building strong customer partnerships and ensuring execution excellence.
Partnering closely with leadership, you will shape and execute territory strategies, lead product launches, and manage a diverse portfolio all within a fast-paced, empowered commercial environment.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Drive achievement of sales, market share, and performance targets for the assigned territory
Develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans aligned to company objectives
Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Medical Representatives to deliver high performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital decision-makers and KOLs
Identify and unlock new business opportunities while strengthening existing accounts
Manage territory resources effectively, including sales and expense budgets
Foster a high standard of customer engagement, responsiveness, and service delivery
Provide market insights on competitors, pricing, and account dynamics
Act as a communication bridge between senior management and field teams
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales leadership
Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Sales Manager leading teams
Experience managing hospital accounts (government and private)
Strong understanding of local market dynamics and commercial execution
Strong people leadership and coaching mindset
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to operate with speed, autonomy, and accountability
Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
