Job Description:

 Value Access

  • HTA Submissions.

  • Provide informed insights and analyses to support the development of HTA strategies and plans that are consistent with brand strategic objectives for new and existing products, facilitating national market access for our products.

  • Stay up to date and knowledgeable about the external market access and health economics environment, key trends, and their potential impact on Ipsen products.

Value Proposition

  • Provide specialized input on Market Access and Health Economics to build/customize a robust value proposition for Ipsen’s portfolio.

  • Adapt and develop market access and health economics evidence tools/packages provided by global/regional colleagues, ensuring they are suitable and relevant for Colombia.

  • Lead interpretation of results, validation of reports, and other communications for the Colombian affiliate and global teams.

  • Clearly articulate the place in therapy, changes in existing treatment algorithms, and the clinical value of Ipsen products to HTA agencies and other payers.

  • Build strong, relevant value arguments with economic and financial impact analyses, while advising on clinical data and alignment with therapeutic pathways.

  • Implement, monitor, and continuously report progress of strategic projects to local and global teams.

Pricing

  • Develop strong, relevant value arguments for pricing dossiers and their implications for market access strategy.

  • Ensure compliance with national pricing regulations and monitor changes in pricing frameworks that could impact Ipsen’s portfolio.

  • Collaborate with global pricing teams to adapt international pricing strategies to local market conditions and payer requirements.

  • Develop, submit, and defend business cases for list pricing submission and reimbursement submission.

Commercial Strategy

  • Validate and adapt global forecasting and patient flow models in collaboration with medical and commercial leaders.

  • Collect information from multiple data sources, including literature, Colombian epidemiological sources, databases such as SISMED and SISPRO, and healthcare professionals (via advisory boards and other means).

  • Complete scenario analysis to inform business decisions.

Develop an access strategy in high-value accounts

  • Design and implement tailored account plans based on a deep understanding of payer segmentation and financial dynamics, ensuring strategic approaches that effectively support the adoption and implementation of our value proposition.

  • Plan, develop, and implement access strategies aligned to Health Authority requirements, to ensure that the company achieves strategic business objectives and financial goals.

  • Strategic thinking, understanding payers, health authorities, KOL needs, identify issues and opportunities, develop targeted multifaceted solutions, and find ways to operate differently by focusing on high added value tasks.

  • Build relevant, solid value arguments to lead in payer and targeted high-value account visits.

Execute Access Strategy

 

-             Actively lead/engage in negotiations of product listing/ funding approvals within targeted high-value accounts.

-             Drive key tactics and adhere to commercial pricing policy to maximize net price and revenue, balancing short- and long-term perspectives.

-             Craft compelling value narratives tailored to the profiles of payers and stakeholders, aimed at driving organizational change and overcoming access barriers to ensure patient availability of our products.

-             Maintain a rigorous contact schedule with payers (HMOS) and Health Secretaries to ensure access to the Company portfolio.

-             Deliver market access product value propositions, programs, and market responses to better position and influence favorable access and patient persistence.

Stakeholder Engagement and Influence

  • Develop comprehensive stakeholder mapping for each account, including healthcare organizations (HCOs), to identify key decision-makers and influencers, enabling value-driven engagements that support the positioning of IPSEN’s portfolio.

  • Analyze each therapeutic category situation in terms of coverage and reimbursement of Ipsen products, existing and emerging payer policies, competitive landscape trends, pricing and contracting strategies, potential barriers to provider and patient access, and opportunities to influence improved outcomes.

  • Search and collect permanent information according to the needs of the key accounts, for example: epidemiological profile, critical pathways of the pathologies of interest, authorization and dispensing processes of medicines, tenders, etc.

  • Identify risks of the target market and propose mitigation strategies

Build public market access expertise

  • Effectively interface with Key Health Secretaries to represent Ipsen Colombia's interests and to identify issues and opportunities to develop targeted solutions if needed.

  • Develop sustainable and responsible relationships with Key Health Secretaries, mapping and keeping the panel of decision makers and processes up to date. Especially because of their importance in decision-making within the Subsidized Regime.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Comprehensive understanding of the pricing /reimbursement environment and review process (HTA)

  • Ability to review and analyze business and medical data

  • Strategic view of accessing the product to work with the paying sources

  • Understanding of health economics and the clinical implications, sharing specific customer requests with the sales field force team, and delivery of a value dossier

  • Ensure the cross-functional cooperation with our client’s product teams regarding all questions about Health Economics, value propositions, and reimbursement

  • Knowledge of Colombian legislation related to the given area of responsibility and industry ethical codes
