Technical Service Manager, Oil and Fats

As part of the Planetary Health Biosolutions team, you will help our customers, as an individual contributor, face ever-changing consumer demands, challenging economics and increased legislative requirements
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Playing a key role for technical service activities for Oils and Fats industries including Vegetable Oil Processing, Biodiesel and Specialty Fats / Oleochemicals.
- Support Product Launch Roll Out including establishing proof of concept with key customers in Middle East / Africa region.
- Work on Application Development together with customers based on local feedstock / raw materials relevant for the region including Soy, Rice bran, Cotton Seed, Sunflower Seeds etc.
- Run trials to establish Proof of Concepts with new leads and opportunities to grow the established base of Degumming, Biodiesel and Enzymatic Interesterification business.
- Support to build opportunity pipeline to help regional growth ambitions.
- Contribute to a better understanding of competitor activities including product performance evaluation.
- Ensure coordination with TS and Application labs to run internal trials and analysis of customer raw materials and samples.
- Other Activities to help support the growth of the industry in specified territories.
Potentially relevant experience:
- Chemical Process Engineer by education
- Plant operations experiences, preferably in vegetable oils processing
- Strong Technical understanding of Vegetable Oils Processing including BioDiesel and / or specialty fats.
- Experience in process related troubleshooting.
- Minimum 6 -10 yrs relevant experience in an Oils and Fats Processing Plant or associate industry.
- Strong Communication and Analytical skills
- Languages: English is mandatory. French or any other relevant regional language.
-Primary location in Türkiye will automatically mean they speak Turkish.
