About this role

Help us get ahead of disease together with our GSK Biologics Tuas Business Area Internship, 2027:   
 

Education required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Discipline with focus in Process equipment reliability and maintenance. 

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship 

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English 

Internship period: January to December 2027

What will you do?  

In this role, you will support vaccine manufacturing operations by contributing to equipment troubleshooting, performance monitoring and ensuring adherence to GMP standards. You will work with GSK processes and global engineering standards to maintain compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. You will utilise SAP systems to manage data, documentation, and support manufacturing-related processes. Additionally, you will assist in problem-solving activities, support project tasks, and prioritise assignments effectively within a fast-paced biopharmaceutical environment while upholding high standards of quality and operational excellence. 

You will be involved in: 

  • Qualification of new equipment 

  • Maintenance and Calibration Project  

  • Continuous Improvement Programme 

  • Equipment Reliability Improvement 

  • Managing GMP documents from end- to-end

What will you learn? 

You will have opportunities to learn the following: 

  • Gain exposure to vaccine manufacturing processes, including adherence to GMP and quality standards. 

  • Exposed to equipment used for Vaccines Manufacturing including its functionality 

  • Work with cross functional teams (Quality Assurance and Manufacturing) and gain strong collaboration and communication skills. 

  • Gain exposure to GSK global engineering standards and processes, ensuring alignment with company and regulatory requirements. 

  • Develop proficiency in SAP and its functionality to support manufacturing operations and documentation processes.
