This role serves as the enterprise owner for ERP strategy, ensuring seamless, scalable connectivity across commercial, financial, supply chain, regulatory, and analytics platforms.

As part of the global Aesthetics transformation, this leadership role leads architecture definition, cross-functional alignment, technology delivery, and vendor governance for the ERP landscape. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Ipsen’s ERP ecosystem enables long-term growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and innovation in the aesthetics business.

Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies

Enterprise ERP Strategy and Leadership

  • Establish and own the end-to-end ERP strategy for the Aesthetics, fully aligned with Ipsen’s global enterprise ERP roadmap.

  • Define and govern the integration architecture, data flows, security standards and process connectivity across the business ecosystem.

  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on ERP long term direction leading to a multi-year roadmap

Program Delivery & Execution oversight

  • Lead the delivery of the ERP program, with accountability for plans, budgets, resources, risks, and milestones.

  • Oversee all technical design, build, testing and deployment activities across multiple parallel workstreams.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions, including order booking, provider loyalty operations, demand and sales forecasting, and commercial planning.

  • Own end‑to‑end design and delivery of ERP integrations across upstream and downstream systems (e.g., Stripe, Salesforce, Databricks).

  • Ensure the ERP roadmap is aligned with business priorities and transformation timelines.

External Partners & Vendor Leadership

  • Manage senior-level relationships with ERP system integrators, 3PLs, distributors, and strategic technology partners.

  • Oversee vendor performance, contract adherence, architectural output, and quality of technical deliverables.

  • Build a high-performing ecosystem of external partners, aligned to Ipsen’s transformation goals.

Own External System Integrations

  • Oversee integration with 3PLs, distributors, and external partners, ensuring accurate and timely data flows for order tracking, fulfillment, and logistics.

  • Ensure robust, real‑time data flows across order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, and record‑to‑report processes—including transition from bulk‑level to SKU‑level tracking.

  • Drive standardization of interfaces, APIs, messaging formats, and data models to simplify integration and future scalability.

Drive execution and lifecycle management

  • Own the ERP integration workplan, milestones, and critical-path dependencies.

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve integration risks, defects, and cutover issues across workstreams.

  • Lead and coordinate testing cycles, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Support cutover planning, data migration validation, hyper care readiness, and post–go‑live stabilization.

Coordinate cross-functional execution

  • Act as the primary integrator across IT, finance, supply chain, regulatory, operations, and commercial system owners.

  • Work closely with external system integrators, ERP vendors, technical architects, and solution partners to ensure aligned delivery.

  • Ensure consistent communication, dependency mapping, and issue tracking across teams and vendors.

  • Facilitate alignment sessions, decision‑making forums, and readiness checkpoints across all stakeholder groups.

Technical Competencies

  • Deep expertise with large-scale ERP implementations and/or data migrations, including SAP S/4HANA

  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules across OTC, P2P, R2R, supply chain, and commercial operations.

  • Experience with integrations to CRM (Salesforce), payment systems (e.g., Stripe), data platforms (e.g., Databricks), and logistics partners (3PLs).

  • Understanding of ERP integration methods (APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, middleware, event streaming).

  • Strong systems thinking across finance, supply chain, and compliance domains

  • Strong knowledge of data governance, master data, and data quality frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, middleware, and APIs

  • Ability to manage complex dependencies and parallel workstreams

  • Clear communication across technical and business stakeholders
