Job Description Summary

The Regional Real Estate & Workplace (RWX) Head is responsible for leading the corporate real estate strategy and operations across multiple countries in the region. This role provides strategic direction, ensures alignment with global RWX objectives, and manages a regional team to deliver value to the business. A strong focus is placed on stakeholder engagement, portfolio optimization, leading M&A RE Transactions and integrating workplace and facility services into business priorities.

The Global Process Owner (GPO) Projects is responsible for overseeing the real estate transaction program across the entire portfolio. The role ensures that all transactions (investments, renewals and divestments) as well as real estate location strategy align with business priorities, optimize asset lifecycle, and deliver value through effective planning, governance, and execution. In regard to M&A, the role supports the company M&A team with topics in relation to workplace and real estate such as due diligence, valuations, site visits, portfolio assessments, integration and transition planning, etc.

Major accountabilities:  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead the regional RWX strategy in alignment with global objectives and local business needs

  • Manage and develop a high-performing regional RWX team across multiple markets.

  • Act as the primary RWX interface with senior business stakeholders, ensuring alignment between real estate decisions and business strategy.

  • Oversee regional portfolio management, including owned and leased assets, workplace design, and facility operations.

  • Drive portfolio optimization initiatives (footprint rationalization, utilization improvements, cost efficiency).

  • Drive strategic transactions, location acquisitions and real estate divestments, large-scale workplace transformations and transactions.

  • Lead M&A-related Real Estate Transactions in consultation with and SPOC for M&A

  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and risk management policies.

  • Support ESG initiatives, sustainability, and innovation in workplace solutions.

  • Develop and maintain regional RWX reporting and performance measurement (KPIs, SLAs, benchmarks).

  • Partner with global RWX leadership and other corporate functions (HR, Finance, IT, Procurement) to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Provide strategic input into the development and management of the corporate real estate capital plan at regional/global level.

  • Provide transparency through regular reporting on real estate portfolio status, risks, and performance.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • 12+ years of experience in corporate real estate, including leadership roles in regional or global settings.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience managing cross-border teams.

  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Expertise in portfolio strategy, workplace trends, and real estate economics.

  • Experience managing complex transactions, projects, and service provider relationships.

  • Strong financial acumen with ability to develop and manage budgets and business cases.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong expertise in financial planning, capital allocation, and investment analysis.

  • Excellent analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with governance frameworks and risk management.
