The Position

As a Lead Controls & Finance Enablement (d/f/m), you will serve as  a key partner to the local commercial organization and the broader finance network within Roche Diagnostics. In this role you will be responsible for leading the team of Finance Excellence Partners (FxPs) and autonomously oversee and manage the Sapin 2 controls framework, perform certain controls and furthermore increase organizational financial awareness by acting as key finance advisor.

Your main responsibilities

Leading the team of Finance Excellence Partners

  • Act as a coach for your team and create an empowering work environment as well as fostering a culture of psychological safety and innovation ;
  • Help your team grow into impactful and trustworthy business partners, whose expertise and business acumen is sought after by internal stakeholders to help them make their business decisions ;
  • Play an instrumental role in ensuring that your team plays a  gatekeeper role in order to ensure the financial ambitions of the affiliate will materialize.

Managing the Sapin 2 controls framework

  • Oversee the end to end Sapin 2 controls framework and take actions to keep it running smoothly which includes continuous observation of potential changes of the external regulatory environment ;
  • Maintain implemented control mechanisms in order to reflect changed circumstances (regulatory requirements, system changes etc) ;
  • Perform dedicated controls within the overall framework ;
  • Act as an organizational coach towards key stakeholders relevant for the controls framework in order to enable them performing high quality controls and promote the importance of accurate control mechanisms ;
  • Create transparency on key risks towards local senior leadership on a regular basis (e.g. Leadership Team, Compliance Committee).

Acting as Core Finance Advisor to the local Commercial Organization

  • Be a key contact person to local commercial teams on various topics in order to support the successful implementation or management of operational activities (e.g. M&A cases, product launches, business model implementations) ;
  • Increase organizational awareness of key finance activities and the importance of following them by coaching key stakeholders and provide trainings where necessary.

Accelerating Operational Efficiency Improvements

  • Proactively identify organizational process inefficiencies by observations made during the autonomous performance of the internal controls ;
  • Collaborate with a broad selection of local stakeholders in order to define and implement counter measures to drive organizational excellence.

Statutory Closing & Accounting

  • Collaborate closely with the Country Chief Accountant (CCA) and relevant Roche Shared Service Center teams by connecting local accounting cases with overall accounting entries to enable RSS teams successfully closing financial statements ;
  • Be a key player in the process of providing management reports which includes the preparation of the shareholder meeting which is co-lead in cooperation with legal and requires coordination with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g. CCA, Legal, Group Treasury, KPMG, workers council).

Your profile

  • Education - Master's degree with a specialisation in Finance (e.g. Master in Finance & Accounting, Control & Auditing and/or DSCG) ;
  • Background - Previous leadership experience and a background in the healthcare industry is considered a plus. Significant experience (minimum 3 years) in Finance Business Partnering, Accounting, Auditing or a related field ;
  • Knowledge of Corporate Finance, IFRS, and French GAAP ;
  • Prior experience in internal control is necessary, including writing procedures ;
  • A strong interest in information systems is appreciated, especially skills in managing FI CO modules on SAP ;
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills ;
  • High degree of autonomy ;
  • Fluency in both French and English (minimum C1 level).

En tant que Lead Controls & Finance Enablement (d/f/m), vous serez un partenaire stratégique pour l'organisation commerciale locale et le réseau financier élargi au sein de Roche Diagnostics. Vos responsabilités principales

Management de l'équipe Finance Excellence Partners

  • Aider les membres de votre Ă©quipe Ă  Ă©voluer pour devenir des partenaires commerciaux d'impact et de confiance, dont l'expertise et le sens des affaires sont recherchĂ©s par les parties prenantes internes pour les guider dans leurs dĂ©cisions stratĂ©giques ;
  • Jouer un rĂ´le dĂ©terminant pour veiller Ă  ce que votre Ă©quipe assure un rĂ´le de contrĂ´le et de sĂ©curisation des ambitions financières de la filiale.

Gestion du cadre de contrĂ´le Sapin II

  • Superviser de bout en bout le cadre de contrĂ´le Sapin II et prendre les mesures nĂ©cessaires Ă  son bon fonctionnement, ce qui inclut une veille continue des Ă©volutions potentielles de l'environnement rĂ©glementaire externe ;
  • Maintenir et adapter les mĂ©canismes de contrĂ´le mis en place afin de reflĂ©ter les changements de contexte (exigences rĂ©glementaires, Ă©volutions des systèmes, etc.) ;
  • ExĂ©cuter des contrĂ´les dĂ©diĂ©s au sein du cadre gĂ©nĂ©ral ;
  • Agir en tant que coach interne auprès des principales parties prenantes du cadre de contrĂ´le afin de leur permettre de rĂ©aliser des contrĂ´les de haute qualitĂ© et de promouvoir l'importance de mĂ©canismes de contrĂ´le rigoureux ;
  • Apporter rĂ©gulièrement de la visibilitĂ© sur les risques clĂ©s auprès de la direction locale (ex. Ă©quipe de direction, comitĂ© de conformitĂ©).

Conseiller financier de référence pour l'organisation commerciale locale

  • ĂŠtre l'interlocuteur/trice privilĂ©giĂ©/e des Ă©quipes commerciales locales sur diverses thĂ©matiques afin de soutenir la mise en Ĺ“uvre ou la gestion rĂ©ussie des activitĂ©s opĂ©rationnelles (ex. dossiers de fusions-acquisitions, lancements de produits, dĂ©ploiements de modèles Ă©conomiques) ;
  • Sensibiliser l'organisation aux activitĂ©s financières clĂ©s et Ă  l'importance de leur respect en accompagnant les parties prenantes et en dispensant des formations si nĂ©cessaire.

Accélération de l'efficacité opérationnelle

  • Identifier de manière proactive les inefficacitĂ©s des processus organisationnels Ă  partir des observations faites lors de l'exĂ©cution autonome des contrĂ´les internes ;
  • Collaborer avec les interlocuteurs locaux afin de dĂ©finir et de mettre en Ĺ“uvre des mesures correctives visant Ă  stimuler l'excellence organisationnelle.

Clôture statutaire & Comptabilité

  • Collaborer Ă©troitement avec le chef comptable national (Country Chief Accountant - CCA) et les Ă©quipes concernĂ©es du centre de services partagĂ©s Roche (Roche Shared Service Center) en faisant le lien entre les dossiers comptables locaux et les Ă©critures comptables globales, afin de permettre aux Ă©quipes RSS de clĂ´turer les Ă©tats financiers avec succès ;
  • Jouer un rĂ´le clĂ© dans le processus de production des rapports de gestion, ce qui inclut la prĂ©paration de l'assemblĂ©e gĂ©nĂ©rale des actionnaires (co-dirigĂ©e en collaboration avec le service juridique et nĂ©cessitant la coordination de diverses parties prenantes internes et externes, telles que le CCA, le juridique, la trĂ©sorerie du groupe, KPMG, le comitĂ© social et Ă©conomique / CSE).

Votre profil

  • Formation : Master avec une spĂ©cialisation en Finance (ex. Master en Finance & ComptabilitĂ©, ContrĂ´le de Gestion & Audit et/ou DSCG) ;
  • ExpĂ©rience : Une première expĂ©rience en management, idĂ©alement dans le secteur de la santĂ©. ExpĂ©rience significative (minimum 3 ans) en Finance Business Partnering, comptabilitĂ©, audit ou dans un domaine connexe ;
  • Connaissances : MaĂ®trise de la finance d'entreprise, des normes IFRS et du Plan Comptable GĂ©nĂ©ral (French GAAP) ;
  • Une expĂ©rience prĂ©alable en contrĂ´le interne est indispensable, y compris dans la rĂ©daction de procĂ©dures ;
  • Un vif intĂ©rĂŞt pour les systèmes d'information est apprĂ©ciĂ©, en particulier des compĂ©tences dans la gestion des modules FI-CO sur SAP ;
  • Excellentes compĂ©tences en communication et en prĂ©sentation ;
  • Grand sens de l'autonomie ;
  • MaĂ®trise courante du français et de l'anglais (niveau C1 minimum).
