About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Dungarvan. This is a key role within Finance, acting as the primary interface between Finance and the business. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting decision-making, and strengthening governance, while building strong cross-functional relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Management & Governance
Lead financial management activities to support business strategy and ensure strong governance
Identify, assess, and manage financial risks
Review management accounts (actuals, forecasts, budgets), supporting sign-off of income statement and balance sheet
Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews with Shared Services
Support corporate approval processes
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, IFRS, and internal control standards
Actively support audits and control testing
Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Director
Business Partnering & Decision Support
Partner with the Site Leadership Team (SLT) to build robust, cost-effective, consumer-focused business cases
Provide proactive financial insights, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities to improve performance
Drive financial awareness and delivery of key KPIs across functions
Support delivery of productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead simplification projects and embed best practices
Support post-acquisition integration and operational excellence tracking
Partner with finance leadership and functional teams on forecasting and planning cycles
What We’re Looking For
Essential
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, MBA or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
Experience working in a matrix or cross-functional environment
Preferred
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels
Solid understanding of commercial drivers and financial performance
Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis
Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong prioritisation and project management skills
Experience in a global organisation and commercial P&L environment
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders
Systems knowledge (e.g., SAP, Cognos, Workday, Siera)
