You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team of commercial and technical experts working closely with application scientists and global sales teams. Together, we deliver solutions that reduce carbon and energy intensity while creating meaningful value for customers across food, fuel, and industrial applications.
The Role & Your Impact
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in translating innovation into market success. This is a strategic and innovation-focused role with global collaboration across R&D, application research, and commercial teams.
You will drive customer engagement and ensure successful commercialization of new products and solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Translate technical developments into compelling customer value propositions across food, oleochemicals, and biodiesel markets
Partner with sales to drive customer engagement and lead early-stage negotiations on new innovations
Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, application experts, marketing, sales, supply chain) to deliver on timelines and commercial objectives
Own end-to-end launch planning from project maturation to successful commercial rollout
Foster accountability, transparent communication, and strong cross-team alignment
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
We’re looking for a commercially driven professional who thrives at the intersection of innovation and market impact.
Must-haves:
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or managing new product development in a B2B environment
Master’s degree in business, science, or engineering
Proven experience working with technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders in complex environments
Strong track record of managing multi-phase innovation or product introduction projects
Expertise in market analysis, customer insights, and competitive landscape mapping
Ability to build strong business cases, including financial modeling and pricing strategies
Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
Experience within biofuels or industrial segments is an advantage
Strong customer-facing capabilities and ability to translate insights into market-driven product positioning

Compensation & Benefits
Estimated salary range: $135,000 - $170,000 + 15% target bonus
401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
