Technical Sales Manager - Poultry

As part of our Animal Biosolutions team, you will join a cross-functional group of technical and commercial experts dedicated to bringing innovative solutions to the animal industry.

Our team works closely with customers and R&D colleagues to solve real production challenges, generate technical insights, and demonstrate product value through scientific application and field expertise.

The Role & Your Impact

• Design enzyme and probiotic solutions tailored to poultry species (broilers, layers, waterfowl)
• Optimize gut health, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and production performance
• Develop targeted technical solutions based on customer feed formulations, raw materials, and farm conditions

• Conduct frequent on-site visits to farms, feed mills, and integrated operations
• Perform diagnostics including data collection, necropsy observation, manure analysis, and performance evaluation
• Identify customer challenges and demonstrate product value through data and trial comparisons

• Deliver training to customers and distributors on product mechanisms and applications
• Support teams with technical expertise during customer engagements and tenders
• Represent Novonesis at industry events, seminars, and conferences

• Gather market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence
• Collaborate with R&D to support product improvement and innovation
• Contribute to technical documentation such as guides and manuals

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

• Master’s degree or higher in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in poultry production or technical service
• Strong understanding of:
  • Poultry production cycles (broilers/layers)
  • Nutrition strategies and disease management
  • Enzymes (phytase, NSP enzymes, proteases) and probiotics (e.g., Bacillus, LAB, yeast)
• Proven ability to diagnose on-farm issues and deliver practical, data-driven solutions
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret production data (FCR, mortality, growth rates, egg production)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence customers and stakeholders
• Willingness to travel extensively and work directly on-site

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

• Experience with large-scale poultry producers or leading feed/additive companies
• Strong customer-facing technical service background
• Experience supporting integrated poultry operations
