Communications Senior Country Lead PACA

1. Serve as a senior communications leader across PACA, acting as a role model for VACC leadership behaviours. Reporting directly to the North Latam & Conosur Communications Head, the incumbent drives communication outcomes across PACA, ensuring Communications contributes meaningfully to business priorities, stakeholder trust, organizational transformation, and long-term reputation building Create an environment of trust, visibility, collaboration and autonomy that enables teams to achieve strong business outcomes. Act as communications counselor to country leadership teams. Manage communications budgets and resources to maximize impact and value creation. Contribute to shaping communications capabilities and best practices across the cluster. University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. 10+ years of professional experience across internal, external and corporate communications. Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders and executive teams. Proven track record managing corporate reputation and complex stakeholder environments. Significant experience in integrated communications, media relations and issue management. Experience operating successfully in complex, matrixed and multinational organizations. Strong strategic mindset and business acumen. Exceptional communications and storytelling capabilities. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to influence without formal authority. Strong reputation management and crisis communications expertise. Experience leading multidisciplinary projects. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and dynamic environments. Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities. Fluency in English and Spanish. Ability to challenge constructively, take ownership and drive outcomes. Support executive visibility initiatives and thought leadership opportunities. Ensure communications contributes directly to creating a favorable business and stakeholder environment. Advise leadership on reputation-sensitive topics and strategic communications decisions. Ensure strong issues preparedness and crisis communications capabilities across the cluster. Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, editors, industry influencers and opinion leaders across PACA. Support senior leaders in external engagement opportunities, conferences, forums and industry events. Ensure alignment between local, regional and global communications priorities. Support leadership teams in strengthening employee engagement and organizational culture. Develop and implement strategic change communications initiatives during periods of transformation. Develop strategic relationships with industry associations, NGOs, academia, healthcare and agricultural organizations, government stakeholders and community leaders. Support enterprise priorities through flexible resource allocation and project leadership when required.
