What you'll do
As the Digital Manager, Central Europe Cluster, you will play a pivotal role in driving AstraZeneca’s digital engagement strategy across the Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and optimizing digital initiatives that enhance customer experience and support business objectives across multiple therapeutic areas and functions.
In this highly collaborative role, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of the OneAZ Healthcare Professional Portals, introduce and scale innovative digital engagement channels, and manage cross-functional digital projects from concept through execution. Leveraging data, insights, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, you will ensure AstraZeneca remains at the forefront of customer-centric digital innovation in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development, enhancement, and backlog management of the OneAZ Healthcare Professional Portals, ensuring an engaging, compliant, and locally relevant user experience across Central Europe.
- Evaluate, pilot, and scale new digital engagement channels, including social media, remote engagement tools, messaging platforms, webinars, mobile applications, and AI-powered solutions.
- Manage digital projects from planning through execution, including scope definition, requirements gathering, timeline management, budget oversight, risk mitigation, and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate and optimize digital content workflows, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and strategically aligned content is published across platforms.
- Maintain digital asset compliance by ensuring all digital properties meet AstraZeneca governance standards and quality requirements.
- Define, monitor, and optimize key performance indicators using digital analytics tools, dashboards, and customer engagement insights.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance user experience, engagement, and business impact.
- Upskill and support colleagues on digital platforms, publishing standards, social media guidelines, and best practices through training, toolkits, and playbooks.
- Oversee effective delivery within AstraZeneca’s global POD operating model, ensuring successful execution of agreed priorities and timelines.
- Monitor digital trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to identify new opportunities that create value for customers and the business.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital project management, digital marketing, or platform delivery, ideally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
- Proven experience leading digital projects across multiple markets and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, portal development, customer engagement channels, and content management ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with web analytics, social media analytics, dashboarding tools, and performance measurement.
- Demonstrated ability to transform data and insights into actionable recommendations and business outcomes.
- Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across commercial, medical, digital, and IT functions.
- Passion for digital, customer experience, and continuous improvement.
- Fluent English and proficiency in at least one Central European market language (Hungarian, Czech, Slovak).
