Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections,  where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

In the role of Lab Workflow Consultant, you will collaborate closely with project team members to deliver customer value and support laboratory consulting initiatives. Your responsibilities will include providing expert evaluation of laboratory workflow processes, anticipating customer requirements, and identifying areas for optimization based on mandatory key performance indicators (KPIs). You will design laboratory layouts, simulate diverse workflow scenarios, create customer presentations, and facilitate meetings and workshops to support the development and deployment of Roche solutions. Furthermore, you will assist customers with pre- and post-analytical instrument applications to ensure their configuration aligns with the recommended workflow design; in the context of total lab automation sites, this role may frequently overlap with project management responsibilities.

What you will be working on:

As the Lab Workflow Consultant, you will

  • Conduct expert evaluations of customer workflow processes to pinpoint optimization areas that align with defined KPIs and client needs.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to establish compelling customer value propositions across all stages of the Buying Cycle.

  • Advise and guide hospital clinicians on enhancing clinical decision support tools and refining the patient journey.

  • Model workflows and laboratory layouts, preparing client-facing presentations to support solution development and deployment.

  • Design customer proposals by leveraging Roche's advanced visualization and simulation tools, including turnaround time (TAT) models, 3D renderings, and virtual reality experiences.

  • Deliver client workshops, educational training sessions, product demonstrations, and presentations.

  • Oversee the deployment of benchmarking surveys and administer Roche's digital platform to share insights, case studies, and healthcare thought leadership.

  • Collaborate closely with the regional APAC Consulting Team to share best practices and ensure effective local service execution across affiliates.

  • Establish enduring, value-focused customer relationships by identifying evolving needs and continuously improving the user experience.

  • Work in tandem with clients and cross-functional teams to address operational demands and sustain excellent customer satisfaction.

  • Embody the traits of an agile leader, demonstrating a proactive growth mindset, curiosity, and a focus on continuous refinement.

  • Promote and safeguard organizational culture by modeling new methodologies and championing cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • Lead and incorporate Lean Six Sigma methodologies into customer projects to deliver and quantify concrete benefits.

Who you are:

  • Possess relevant professional experience within the healthcare industry, including at least 5 years of deep knowledge and experience in central laboratory workflows and clinical disciplines. A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology is preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated capability in overseeing complex projects with ambitious milestones under high-pressure conditions.

  • Strong analytical capabilities and a forward-looking thought process, with a passion for data crunching and proficiency in advanced MS Excel analysis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with outstanding presentation skills and the ability to persuade others.

  • Strong customer service acumen and the ability to drive end-user satisfaction while working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.

  • Highly adept at problem-solving combined with a strong aptitude for continuous learning.

  • Highly accountable, results-oriented, persistent, proactive, dynamic, and resourceful when working under pressure.

  • An individual who takes ownership of their personal development, explores diverse functions and geographies, and views a job title as a starting point rather than a final definition.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel within the country to deliver face-to-face customer support.

Role Requirements:

This is a field-based role based in Metro Manila that requires travel outside Metro Manila, both locally and abroad. This role is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in the Philippines.
