Manager Learning & Development

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Internal Training Programme:

• Coordinate with leadership and other key stakeholders to develop learning content and a strategy to execute the agreed learning plan.

• Design and develop effective training content to drive organizational value and build a learning culture.

• Effectively introduce modern learning methodologies to build a high-performing team.

• Identify training needs in consultation with the business unit leadership team and prepare the annual training program and calendar.

• Execute, evaluate, and monitor the progress of the learning solutions and share the outcome quarterly.

• Provide field coaching and on-the-job support for 7–8 days per month.

• Partner with Medical for periodic medical refreshers and knowledge checks.

• Design and develop the business centric learning content and ensure timely execution.

• Manage onboarding of new joiners through Jumpstart/Pratham in coordination with Sales, Medical, and HR.

• Analyze coaching reports and discuss observable behaviors with the sales leadership team.

Monitoring, Measuring and Reporting: 

• Execute, measure, and report key insights from all learning interventions.

• Analyze the coaching reports and share the key highlights.

• Ensure the execution, monitoring, and reporting of key initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with other functions to bring diverse perspectives while identifying issues and building solutions.

• Plan, execute, and share the results of knowledge assessments.

• Conduct regular refresher training for trainers to ensure consistency in the delivery of learning solutions.

• Periodically assess the effectiveness of the process at different levels.

Communication:

• Prepare and share the monthly training dashboard with key stakeholders.

• Regularly update the leadership team on learning objectives, expected outcomes, participation, scores, key insights, observations, and highlights.

• Highlight common programs that support a unified company approach.

Job Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience in training and development in pharma or consumer-facing industries such as FMCG, medical devices, etc.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
