Job Description
Director, Enterprise Platforms
We are seeking an experienced leader to drive the strategy, evolution, and adoption of our global Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) capabilities.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, contracting operations, and enterprise technology. The successful candidate will lead a global product team responsible for enabling and optimizing contracting processes across a complex, highly regulated business environment.
While experience with CLM technologies is valuable, we are equally interested in candidates who have led complex contracting, workflow, business transformation, or enterprise technology initiatives in industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services, banking, consulting, procurement, legal operations, telecommunications, or other highly regulated sectors.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Business Leadership
- Define and communicate a clear multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for the CLM Product Line, aligning business priorities with enterprise technology standards.
- Act as the primary business-facing leader for CLM capabilities, partnering closely with Legal, Procurement, Compliance, Technology, and Operations stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders, influencing decisions across complex global initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and continuously improve contracting processes and user experiences across the enterprise.
- Establish product success measures and KPIs to demonstrate business value, adoption, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Product & Delivery Leadership
- Lead the full product lifecycle across multiple CLM products and capabilities, including planning, delivery, adoption, optimization, and ongoing enhancement.
- Oversee the translation of business needs into product requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and delivery plans.
- Drive enterprise-scale implementations, upgrades, releases, and enhancements using strong program and change management practices.
- Partner with architecture, integration, security, data, and delivery teams to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Facilitate executive-level decision-making and trade-off discussions balancing scope, value, timing, risk, and cost.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop a global team of Subject Matter Experts.
- Build high-performing team.
- Foster effective collaboration across globally distributed teams located in North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Support a team responsible for both product delivery and ongoing operational excellence, including configuration governance, release planning, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement activities.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors, implementation partners, and strategic service providers.
- Coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups with differing priorities and objectives.
- Drive organizational change management activities and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful adoption of new capabilities and processes.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise products, business platforms, transformation programs, contracting operations, procurement systems, legal operations, workflow solutions, or other complex business capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and business partnership skills.
- Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams across multiple regions.
- Strong leadership capabilities including business acumen, organizational influence, communication skills, change leadership, and execution excellence.
- Track record of balancing business requirements, operational needs, and technology capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Experience managing external vendors, implementation partners, or strategic service providers.
- Excellent communication and executive presence.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred
- Master's Degree.
- 7 + years of experience in enterprise product leadership, business transformation, digital enablement, or operational excellence roles.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services, banking, insurance, technology, or consulting.
- Experience with complex contract management, procurement, legal operations, sourcing, compliance, or commercial governance processes.
- Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions such as DocuSign CLM, Icertis, Sirion, Agiloft, Ironclad, Conga, SAP Ariba, or similar platforms.
- Experience leading enterprise SaaS implementations and driving large-scale user adoption.
- Product Management, Agile, Scrum, or Change Management certifications.
- CLM-related certifications are advantageous but not required.
