Role Summary

This is a high-visibility, dual‑focused HRBP role that combines strategic business partnering for China Support Functions with ownership of Enterprise‑Wide HR Projects, Employee Relationship, and full HR stewardship for Organon Trading Company Entity. The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a matrixed, fast‑paced environment, balances big‑picture thinking with operational rigor, and drives measurable people outcomes that enable business growth.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic HR Business Partnering – Supporting Functions in China

· Partner with senior leaders across China Supporting Funcitons, and admin to shape people strategies that align with functional and corporate objectives.

· Drive talent calibration, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness through data‑driven insights and proactive workforce planning.

· Act as trusted advisor to people managers, fostering a high‑performance, inclusive culture.

Employee Relations Expertise

· Serve as the go‑to ER authority, managing complex investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations with full compliance to local labor law and global policies.

· Proactively identify ER risks, implement preventive measures, and deliver manager training to mitigate legal exposure and enhance workplace trust.

· Analyze ER metrics to surface systemic issues and recommend sustainable solutions.

HR Project Leadership – Global & Local (Incl. Talent Development)

· Support global/regional HR transformation projects – eg. talent development frameworks (leadership pipelines, competency models, career pathways) to engagement initiatives and HR technology deployments.

· Ensure seamless localization of global programs while maintaining consistency with corporate standards.

· Drive project governance, change management, and stakeholder communications to achieve on‑time, high‑quality deliverables.

HR Stewardship – Organon Trading Company

· Assume full HR ownership for the Organon Trading Company legal entity, maintain the trading company’s organizational structure and keep personnel information up to date; fully support quality department–led government inspection activities and related official assignments.

Continuous Improvement & Agile Delivery

· Champion a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous learning; proactively identify process gaps and drive solutions.

· Collaborate with COEs and regional/global HR teams to elevate HR service delivery and business impact.
