As a Research Scientist at ICON, you will lead and conduct scientific research aimed at advancing clinical trials and develop innovative therapies.

 

What You Will Do:

You will contribute to clinical research activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and leading scientific research projects, including clinical trials, in accordance with regulatory standards and study protocols.
  • Conducting data analysis, interpreting results, and generating scientific reports to inform the development of new treatments and therapies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including biostatisticians, clinical teams, and regulatory experts, to ensure the success of research projects.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of research activities and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Publishing research findings in scientific journals and presenting at industry conferences to advance the knowledge base in clinical research.

 

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant clinical research experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific field such as biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or clinical research.
  • Experience in conducting research within the clinical or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of managing scientific projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in data interpretation and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the strategic direction of research initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
