Job Description — Associate manager, Owned Web & Digital Implementation
General Summary
This is a hands-on digital role focused on end-to-end management, production and optimization of the company’s owned website and related owned channels. The role is responsible for implementing CMS solutions under global/regulatory constraints, improving UI/UX and conversion paths, driving visitors to offline and online stores, and locally executing global digital solutions. The incumbent works closely with IT, Brand, BI and external vendors to deliver measurable business outcomes through practical execution.
Four focus areas for this role:
- Reliable Owned WEB and digital solution implementation and operation under global CMS governance with strong quality assurance (component configuration, release management, QA, and privacy/regulatory compliance).
- Data-driven UX improvements and CVR optimization (analyze web behavior → prototype in Figma → publish MVP → run A/B tests → continuous PDCA to deliver results).
- Drive web-to-store conversion with local execution capability (design and implement web→store flows such as reservations, coupons, QR campaigns, and validate offline attribution).
- Measurement and data integration (UTM/tag/data Layer design, GTM governance, 1st‑party data capture and consent management, and event forwarding to CRM).
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain the corporate/brand website in day-to-day production: content publishing, CMS component configuration, release management and quality assurance within global CMS governance and compliance requirements.
- Implement CMS changes and front-end components based on intake requirements; produce implementation-ready design artifacts and hand-offs for development (Figma, Adobe XD prototypes).
- Own technical SEO tasks that affect organic presence: implement SEO tagging, metadata, structured data, sitemap updates, canonicalization and performance improvements in collaboration with IT and external partners.
- Design and implement UX improvements and conversion funnels: analyze web access and behavioral data, map current user journeys, define target journeys per audience cohort and implement page-level and flow-level optimizations to improve CVR.
- Rapidly prototype MVP pages and content, deploy experiments (A/B, multivariate), measure results and iterate based on data; manage experiment lifecycle from hypothesis, tagging, QA to result analysis.
- Implement and govern tracking: UTM strategy, analytics tags, dataLayer/event taxonomy, GTM (or equivalent) configuration and tag testing to ensure accurate measurement and attribution.
- Drive web-to-store initiatives: design and execute features and campaigns that convert web visitors into offline/online store visits (store locator UX, reservation/appointment flows, click-to-call, unique campaign codes, QR driven experiences), and measure offline attribution where possible.
- Manage integrations between website and CRM/marketing automation: ensure data flows (registration, events, consent) are implemented correctly and support 1st-party data capture for lifecycle marketing.
- Act as the local implementer for global digital solutions: translate global components for local UX/technical constraints, perform local implementation, validate vendor deliverables and provide feedback to global teams.
- Ensure all implementations comply with applicable privacy and regulatory requirements; support opt-in flows and consent management in collaboration with legal/BI teams.
- Produce clear operational documentation (release notes, runbooks, tagging maps), and maintain a prioritized backlog of website improvements.
Required Experience
- 3–7 years hands-on experience in web production, CMS implementation and front-end delivery in B2C environments (or equivalent consumer-facing contexts).
- Proven track record delivering measurable CVR/UX improvements on corporate/brand websites through A/B testing and iterative releases.
- Practical experience implementing technical SEO and CMS component work within a global CMS framework or governed template system.
- Direct experience with tag management and analytics implementation (UTM strategy, event/dataLayer design, GTM or similar) and ensuring data quality for reporting.
- Experience implementing web features that drive offline store visits and measuring web-to-store outcomes.
- Experience integrating website events with CRM/CDP/marketing automation systems (data capture, consent flows, event forwarding).
- Working knowledge of privacy and data protection needs for website data collection (GDPR/CCPA-aware implementation practices).
Required Skills & Tools
- Prototyping: Figma, Adobe XD or equivalent — able to create implementation-ready prototypes.
- Web analytics & experimentation: GA4 (or equivalent), A/B testing tools, basic SQL for ad-hoc analysis.
- Tag management & tracking: GTM (or equivalent), dataLayer design, familiarity with pixel/tag troubleshooting.
- CMS familiarity: template/component configuration, release workflows, staging/production deployments.
- Basic understanding of front-end implications (HTML/CSS/JS basics) and how they affect SEO and performance.
- Comfortable with tools for issue tracking and release coordination (Jira, Confluence, or similar).
- Data-driven mindset: sets hypotheses, defines metrics (KPIs), runs tests and interprets results to prioritize fixes.
- Strong execution focus: able to manage multiple technical tasks, perform QA, and deliver releases under deadlines.
Collaboration & Working Style
- Works closely with IT/Technology to implement technical changes and enforce release governance.
- Partners with Brand Marketing to translate marketing goals into web requirements and KPI definitions.
- Coordinates with BI/Data teams to validate data flows and ensure measurement fidelity.
- Engages external agencies and vendors as implementers and QA partners; acts as local SPOC for global vendor deliverables.
- Proactive operator: seeks necessary inputs, escalates blockers early and drives execution rather than waiting for direction.
Preferred experience & skills
- Hands-on experience with global CMS deployments and adapting global components for local markets.
- Prior work in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, finance) where privacy and compliance affect web implementation.
- Familiarity with web-to-store attribution methods and offline measurement techniques.
- Experience working with LINE or other local messaging platforms for registration/CRM flows is a plus.
