About this role

Job Purpose

The new team member will join the pharmacology laboratory within the preclinical research group. As part of this team, she/he will conduct pharmacological experiments, primarily using animal models and cell lines. The role is focused on investigating the mechanisms of action of the company's drugs, contributing to a deeper understanding of their therapeutic potential.
She/he will report directly to the Head of Pharmacology Laboratory and work alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

•    Design, execute, and analyse pharmacological experiments
•    Actively participate in scientific discussions. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support preclinical research projects. 
•    Maintain accurate records and documentation of experimental procedures and results. 
•    Support the development and implementation of new methodologies and technologies in the laboratory.

Required Education

Degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline (PhD preferred). 

Required Skills and Experience

•    At least 3 years of experience in laboratory research. 
•    Expertise in mice handling, drug administration, organ collection and dissection, as well as surgical procedures. 
•    Mandatory certification to work with animals according to DL 26/2014 (at least mice; experience with rats is a plus). 
•    Experience with standard procedures in cell culture and 
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 
•    Good written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Adaptability, curiosity, and a proactive approach to scientific challenges.    

Salary

Gross Annual Salary starting from: 37.000€
