About this role

Job Overview
Provide legal advice and services to support the organization’s business in assigned region, in one or more of the following areas: contract law, employment law, commercial law, regulatory or compliance. May also coordinate legal matters handled by outside counsel.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts; provide end-to-end legal support to business teams.
Advise Commercial Operations on contracting, risk allocation and daily legal queries.
Counsel on IP, technology, privacy, data protection and commercial compliance.
Build and refine legal templates, playbooks and workflows to boost efficiency.
Collaborate with Compliance, Privacy, Procurement and other functions on cross-team initiatives.
Drive AI adoption in APAC legal, with focus on practical solutions for China.

Qualifications

LLB or equivalent; PRC National Legal Professional Qualification is required; PRC lawyer license or foreign equivalent bar admission accepted is a plus.
3–5 years’ legal experience from a reputable firm and/or in-house team.
Sound knowledge of commercial contracting, IP, tech and privacy/compliance.
Process-minded; experience improving legal templates or workflows.
Hands-on understanding of AI tools in legal work.
Strong communication and cross-team trust-building skills.
