Payment Associate

As a Site Payment Specialist at ICON, you will facilitate site payments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and review the financial aspects of clinical trials.

What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for site payments deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and execute site payments in compliance with Clinical Trial Agreements and individual site staff agreements

  • Manage and execute participant payments in line with regulatory requirements and sponsor’s  policies

  • Record payment transactions and updates accurately in relevant electronic systems

  • Create Purchase Orders (POs) based on established contract values, in coordination with Budget & Contract Specialists and Trial Managers

  • Set up new suppliers for new engaged sites staff participating in clinical trials

  • Track and monitor payment status regularly, proactively identifying and resolving issues and reporting inaccuracies in reports as required

  • Coordinate with Budget & Contract Specialists, Study Start-up Specialists, Trial Managers, and Legal and Finance Teams as required to facilitate the efficient execution of payment processes and resolution of payment related issues

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant pricing and investigator payments experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field OR 3-4 years of experience in payments

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
