About this role

Job Purpose

Area Sales Manager will lead sales operations for Recordati portfolio across a designated region (South Kazakhstan) and will manage a team of Medical Representatives, achieve sales targets, and successfully implement marketing and commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coach a team of Medical Representatives to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for our original products portfolio.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies, including KOL engagement.
Analyze market data, competitor activities, and performance metrics to optimal implement promotional activities.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with marketing, medical affairs, and supply chain for successful product launches.
Foster a high-performance, inclusive team culture through training, feedback, and engagement meetings.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain accurate CRM reporting.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Business Administration, or related field, will be a plus.

Required Skills and Experience

4+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with 2+ years in a managerial role for originals/branded products.
Proven track record in team leadership, sales growth, and product launches in competitive markets.
Strong analytical skills (Excel proficiency for data analysis and forecasting).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; fluent in Kazak
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (50-60% regionally).
Knowledge of Kazak pharma market dynamics
