Within the Quantitative Pharmacology department, your role will be to contribute to the in silico identification and validation of targets to drive therapeutic progress. You will capitalize on the computational integration of high-throughput multi-domain biomedical data and knowledge to support decisions on new targets. Working at the interface of Research, Translational Medicine, and Therapeutic Areas, you will ensure that computational insights are translated into actionable evidence to fuel the R&D pipeline, with a particular focus on neurology projects.

Key Responsibilities include :

Identifying and characterizing candidate therapeutic targets using high-dimensional molecular and patient data, alongside advanced computational and AI methods, with a focus on neurological indications.
Contributing actively to team projects and portfolio objectives, ensuring rigorous execution and high-quality deliverables.
Communicating scientific and technical results effectively to project teams and stakeholders.
Developing and implementing innovative methods for target identification and validation.
Collaborating with external partners and third-party vendors on key projects.

Profile

PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience in pharmaceutical R&D or biotech, with exposure to translational research and computational target identification, ideally with significant experience in neurology.
Strong understanding of molecular mechanisms and physiopathological processes in neurological diseases.
Proven expertise in hypothesis generation through computational analysis of high-dimensional molecular, genetic, and clinical/preclinical data.
Knowledge of the early pharmaceutical R&D value chain, from in silico discovery to preclinical validation.
Strong understanding/knowledge in Machine Learning, Digital Twins, or foundational models.
A collaborative and curious mindset, with excellent English communication skills.
