Industry Technology Specialist, Oils and Fats

Join us as new Industry Technology Specialist for Oils and Fats industry!

In this role you will make an impact by:

• Support plant trials, commissioning and optimization to meet customer and project expectations
• Diagnose and resolve product application or process issues through data analysis, site visits and remote troubleshooting
• Interaction with Novonesis Regional/Global Technical Service Experts for knowledge sharing / technology transfer
• Take lead on multiple initiatives with business development mindset
• Develop and accelerate opportunity by collaborating with Account Manager
• Help implement successful launches of new enzymes and technology within the Oils and Fats Industry

To succeed you must hold:

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology
• Above 5 years’ experience in the Biodiesel or Oils and Fats industry (Biodiesel / Oil refinery / EPC company specialized in Oil&Fats) with possible exposure to plants and process engineering knowledge
• English and Korean: fluent in written and spoken
• Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with enzymes will be an excellent added advantage across Oils and Fats industry
• Regional Coverage: Initially focused on Korea, with future exposure to Japan and the Oceania regions.
