About this role
Interested in a career that matters?
Would you like to better our world with biology? Then this is your chance to become a vital part of our Quality department, safeguarding the high quality and food safety of our products.
The role & your impact
We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team in Avedøre. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the right level of quality and food safety across a diverse portfolio of microbe-based products – ranging from cultures for yogurt and cheese to probiotics for human health.
Our quality landscape is both unique and complex, as it spans food, infant nutrition, and pharmaceutical products and therefore operates under multiple regulatory frameworks.
Your responsibilities will include
- Reviewing batch documentation and releasing products within dietary supplements, infant nutrition, and pharma
- Managing deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and maintaining SOPs
- Working in electronic quality systems such as SAP and LIMS
- Planning, executing, and participating in internal and external audits
- Supporting stakeholders across Production, QC, Logistics, and Supply
- Contributing to GMP compliance, continuous improvement, and cross functional projects
What you’ll need to be successful
We imagine that you bring a strong quality mindset and experience from a regulated environment.
You likely have
- A relevant academic degree, ideally a Master’s in Pharmacy, Engineering, or Food Science and Technology
- 2–5 years of experience from the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements, e.g. Eudralex Vol. IV, HACCP, FSSC 22000, 21 CFR Part 111, ISO 22000
- Understanding of quality processes such as release processes, batch documentation, and QP related requirements
- Fluency in both Danish and English at business proficiency level
Additional skills & interests we value
You thrive in a fast paced environment striving for the appropriate cGMP level. As a colleague, you are pragmatic, solution oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to create transparency in priorities and work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders. A good sense of humor is always appreciated.
What we offer
At Novonesis, you will become part of a multinational and multicultural organization where engagement matters. We see our employees as our most valuable asset and continuously invest in improving how we work, collaborate, and create impact through biology.

We value diversity, constructive dialogue, collaboration, and continuous optimization of our processes.
Application deadline: May 6th, 2026. We will invite for interviews after the application deadline, so you can expect to hear from us soon after this date.
