Associate Director, Strategy and PMO, TCM

Accountabilities - 职责

Lead TCM market and business analyses with dynamic, continual updates throughout the planning cycle.
• Identify and analyze key trends and changes in China macro environment and Boehringer-relevant industries (human pharma, animal health, CDMO)
• Work with business to analyze market dynamics, and initiate discussions with local stakeholders to understand business impact and strategy needs.
• Under the guidance of Strategy head, formulate strategic options including analysis/modelling with the inputs from cross-function teams. 

Govern and/or Lead TCM key strategic projects to ensure smooth communication, effective implementation as well as good results. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives with company goals.
• Lead and monitor strategy implementation progress.
• Lead the preparation and discussions with local & global stakeholders in key strategic projects.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate project success.
• Collaborate with PMO Community and TCM Leadership Team to advance strategic initiatives.
• Identify project critical path, lead and organize cross-functional discussions to solve issues, and innovate problem solving ideas
• Escalate issues and propose action plan when necessary, and generate regular reports for Leadership Team

Work with Corporate and TCM team to update TCM strategy for Boehringer Ingelheim TCM. 
• Support Strategy head to implement and communicate overall TCM corporate vision, mission and strategy for all employee and to corporate.
• Design and organize TCM leadership workshops, conferences and meetings in alignment with the implementation needs of TCM vision, mission and strategy.
• Develop analysis/communication tools to facilitate the strategy exchange, upgrade and/or update. (Annual Review Cycle, BMD documents…)

Minimum Education/Degree Requirements

College education (Bachelor's degree) or equivalent

Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies)

• Top-tier university degree, preferably in scientific subjects (biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, etc.) or in analytical concentrations (higher-level mathematics, economics, finance, computer science); Advanced degree (Master’s, MBA) preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English and Mandarin
• Excellent working attitude and values; strong leadership but with collaborative mindset
• Solid data analytical, excel modeling, PowerPoint and presentation skills 
• At least 7 years of working experience, with 2+ years of management consulting/investment working experience(preferably focused on life science, healthcare, animal health) or in strategic planning or business develop with a top Pharmaceutical / Animal Health company in China.  Strategic planning, and/or other analytical experience required
