Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifies, develops and maintains collaborative scientific relationships with current and future regional experts and opinion leaders, key centres and local collaborative groups and develops required qualitative and quantitative reports
  • Establishment and support of regional and nationwide networks
  • Fosters medical and scientific information and data exchange from the medical community to Celltrion
  • Delivery of balanced scientific data internally and externally
  • Ensures up-to-date information of speakers and external experts in respect to Celltrion`s products and therapeutic areas
  • Scientific communication on therapeutic principles and products & pipeline
  • Implements and disseminates high-quality complex scientific information, innovative medical education materials and research concepts to external experts, including speakers’ preparation and slides kit development
  • Provides medical-scientific support for medications internally and externally
  • Creates, organises and completely manages regional and national advisory boards, regional expert meetings and other scientific events and educational symposia at local congresses with key stakeholders
  • Supports national medical strategy
  • Medical support of local and/or international studies and clinical projects (e.g. Study protocol, safety)
  • Generates insights and collects and reports competitive intelligence derived from the market and scientific meetings
  • Active participate of national & international relevant congresses
  • Develops congress reports/summary slides with business-relevant need decks of important congresses
  • Ensures one`s continuing education, willing to self-study and open to training concepts
  • Supports external experts in development concepts and protocols for IITs or other medical projects that support Celltrion products
  • Ensures PV & compliance standards with GMA, SOPs, GCP and ICH, compliance policies and procedures, relevant country reports as well as with legal and ethical standards
  • Support commercial field force and corporate account efforts related to presenting clarity around clinical and scientific information supporting therapeutic decisions in patient care
  • Active participation and professional support at commercial meetings
  • Supports internal medical trainings
  • Works with marketing and sales to ensure prioritisation of key accounts

Skills / Knowledge Required:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Field experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong experience in Medical Affairs
  • Experiences in Dermatology/Pneumology/ENT are necessary
  • Scientific knowledge in immunology and oncology is most helpful
  • Preparing and supporting launches from a medical field-based perspective (1-2 each year)
  • Documented medical or scientific experience, scientific background
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, legal and compliance environment
  • Existing customer network would be helpful
  • Strong customer orientation, science-based, and marketing-minded
  • Experience or knowledge of the German health System and health care decision-making
  • Strong Project Management and Medical Affairs skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, scientific and non-scientific
  • Good English skills
  • Willingness to travel (>60%)
  • Valid driver`s license
  • Strong identification with Celltrion`s values and visions
  • Handling the scientific background of the whole portfolio, independent of product focus
  • Flexibility of changing focus in business-relevant therapeutic areas (e.g. Launch procedure)
