Organization Context
The Türkiye affiliate is a growing and strategically important market with increasing digital ambition. This role is being established to embed a dedicated T@L Business Integrator Lead who acts as the bridge between Türkiye business teams and global Tech@Lilly capabilities — ensuring technology investments are well-directed, adopted, and delivering measurable business value. This role mainly focuses on deep business engagement and ground-level technology execution.
Role Summary
The T@L Business Integrator Lead – Türkiye Affiliate is a role focused on hands-on business engagement and digital solution delivery for the Türkiye affiliate. Working under the direction of the affiliate T@L Director, the person in this role will be embedded in day-to-day business operations — engaging directly with functional teams across Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, Medical Affairs, CA and Regulatory to understand their needs, co-design technology solutions, and drive successful delivery. Beyond classic business integration, this role also carries a forward-looking mandate: championing AI adoption, process automation, and data-driven ways of working that help the Türkiye affiliate operate more efficiently and competitively. This is a strategic and execution-oriented position that strengthens Tech@Lilly's presence and digital impact on the ground in Türkiye.
Key Responsibilities
Business Engagement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage directly and proactively with functional teams across Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR, Medical Affairs, CA and Regulatory to understand business processes, priorities, and technology needs — with Commercial functions as the primary focus.
- Build trusted working relationships with business users, functional managers, and operational stakeholders across the Türkiye affiliate.
- Act as an active contributor to business conversations — surfacing technology opportunities and translating business pain points into clear requirements for the IT Director and global delivery teams.
- Support the affiliate T@L Director in preparing for affiliate-level planning discussions by gathering ground-level business insights and input.
Solution Delivery & Project Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT solutions for the affiliate: from requirements gathering and design through testing, deployment, and user acceptance.
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories and actionable technical specifications for global product and development teams.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and risks; facilitate change management to achieve alignment across stakeholders.
- Support delivery of solutions related to customer consent management and data privacy — understanding the business and regulatory implications and ensuring technology implementations reflect these requirements.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, system integrators, and global technology teams to ensure commitments are delivered on time and to quality.
- Apply agile methodologies where appropriate, contributing to backlog management and sprint execution.
AI Adoption & Digital Innovation
- Actively promote and support the adoption of AI tools within the Türkiye affiliate — including Microsoft Copilot and generative AI platforms — by identifying high-value use cases and facilitating business readiness.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI, automation, and data solutions can eliminate manual effort, improve decision-making, or accelerate commercial outcomes.
- Champion a culture of innovation at the affiliate level: run idea generation sessions, support proof-of-concept delivery, and help the business articulate and prioritise digital opportunities.
- Stay current on AI developments, responsible use principles, and Lilly's internal AI governance standards; ensure all AI initiatives at the affiliate comply with these frameworks.
Process Automation & Data Enablement
- Identify and assess business processes that are strong candidates for workflow or process automation, using tools such as Power Automate or other low-code/no-code platforms.
- Support or lead the implementation of automation solutions in collaboration with global technology teams, ensuring they are intuitive, well-adopted, and sustainably maintained.
- Work with business stakeholders to improve data literacy and promote the use of analytics and reporting tools to support evidence-based decision-making at the affiliate.
- Maintain awareness of the affiliate's data landscape and flag data quality, access, or integration issues that limit business insight or technology effectiveness.
Compliance, Standards & Governance
- Ensure all affiliate IT systems and processes comply with Lilly's global Tech@Lilly standards, quality practices (LQP), data privacy requirements, and applicable local regulatory obligations.
- Participate in audits and assessments; maintain system compliance documentation.
- Support validation activities and ensure systems remain in a compliant, validated state through their lifecycle.
Technology Strategy Support
- Support the execution of the affiliate Tech@Lilly roadmap by ensuring initiatives are grounded in real business needs and that local stakeholders are aligned and prepared for change.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and internal Lilly platform capabilities relevant to the affiliate.
- Proactively bring forward ideas and business cases to improve efficiency, digitise business processes, or enhance the local technology experience.
Technical Background & Digital Skills

The following technical areas are relevant to the scope of this role:
Core Technical Competencies
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT architecture concepts — including application landscapes, integration patterns, cloud platforms, and data flows — sufficient to engage meaningfully with solution architects and developers.
- Experience working with or overseeing the implementation of technology solutions across commercial functions (e.g., CRM platforms such as Veeva or Salesforce) as well as corporate functions including Finance, HR, Medical Affairs, CA or Regulatory — able to engage credibly with business stakeholders across these domains.

- Familiarity with agile delivery practices: writing user stories, participating in sprint ceremonies, managing a product backlog in collaboration with delivery teams.
- Understanding of customer consent management concepts and data privacy regulations (e.g., KVKK, GDPR) — able to assess whether technology solutions are designed and configured in a privacy-compliant manner.
- Ability to evaluate technical proposals, challenge assumptions, and ask the right questions to assess feasibility, risk, and fit for business needs.
AI & Automation
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and generative AI tools relevant to a business affiliate context — including Microsoft Copilot, large language model applications, and AI-powered productivity tools.
- Understanding of low-code/no-code workflow and process automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate) at a level sufficient to identify viable automation opportunities, shape requirements, and assess delivered solutions.
- Awareness of AI governance principles, responsible AI practices, and data privacy considerations in the deployment of AI solutions within a regulated enterprise environment.
Data & Analytics
- Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) — able to support business users in consuming data insights and work with data teams to shape reporting requirements.
- Basic understanding of data management concepts: data quality, master data, data governance, and integration — sufficient to identify data-related blockers and escalate effectively.
- Experience promoting data literacy within a business function, helping stakeholders move from gut-feel decisions toward evidence-based approaches.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT solution delivery, business analysis, or IT business partnering in a corporate or affiliate environment.

- Demonstrable exposure to AI tools, process automation, or data analytics in a professional setting.
- Awareness of customer consent management and data privacy frameworks (e.g., KVKK in Türkiye, GDPR) and their implications for technology solutions.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Turkish language skills required for effective local stakeholder engagement.
