Overview
The Senior Manager, US HCP Marketing, will play a pivotal role in advancing disease awareness and market development across the ATTR amyloidosis landscape. This individual will lead development and execution of strategies designed to increase urgency to suspect, diagnose, and treat ATTR amyloidosis, while helping shape the future of the market through innovative customer engagement and education. This role will serve as a key marketing partner to Alnylam’s Business Account Executive (BAE) team, translating customer insights and market opportunities into targeted strategies, messaging, and resources that accelerate market development. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering cross-functionally to drive measurable business impact and market growth.
The position is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, MA and will report to the Director, US Market Development with up to ~40% travel to conferences, KOL engagements, Sales meetings, etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive disease awareness and market development strategies that drive earlier recognition, diagnosis, and treatment consideration for ATTR amyloidosis
* Serve as an internal disease area expert, leveraging a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, competitive activity, and evolving diagnostic trends
* Lead development and evolution of disease state campaigns and messaging, in alignment with the broader HCP engagement and brand strategies
* Develop high quality field materials and resources that enable effective customer engagement and field execution
* Partner with field team to gather feedback and optimize customer engagement strategies and resources
* Support planning and execution of field meetings (ie, POAs)
* Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess impact, identify opportunities, and inform future investments
* Partner closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Training, Market Research, Advanced Analytics, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand strategies
* Collaborate with medical, legal, regulatory and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of all strategies and tactics
* Partner with agencies to ensure creative excellence, consistency and timely execution
* Contribute to annual brand planning, tactical planning, and business reviews
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business, science or related field; MBA or science-related graduate degree preferred
* 5+ years of relevant experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare consulting, or healthcare agency sectors preferred
* Excellent communications skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing are required
* Proven project management skills including timeline management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, plan execution
* Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical capabilities and experience leveraging customer insights and performance data to inform decisions

U.S. Pay Range
$150,500.00 - $203,700.00
The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
