THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you curious to know what a Demand Manager role within a Supply Chain department in a multinational pharmaceutical company looks like? Are you ready to bring your enthusiasm, proactive attitude and expertise into daily business? Then this challenge is for you!
We are looking for a talented and motivated student to join the Supply Chain department as a Demand Management Intern in Amsterdam, where we support the supply chain activities for 8 European countries.
During this internship you will gather hands-on experience and live a true international experience in a dynamic industry.
In the department, we have a pleasant and informal working atmosphere. We value flexibility, humor, and lifting together as a team. We have a flat structure, and we are driven by self-empowerment.
The internship will run for at least 6 months, starting in October 2026.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN
- How supply chains are planned end-to-end, from customer demand through to production and product availability
- How global manufacturing sites, local commercial organizations, and supply chain functions collaborate to ensure product availability
- How strategic and operational decisions are connected through processes such as S&OP, S&OE, and inventory management
- How supply challenges are coordinated in close alignment with the Supply Chain team and the business
- Get hands-on experience with supply chain planning systems and try to identify process improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Quality, and Global Supply Chain teams
YOU BRING
- University student in the field of Supply Chain Management & Logistics, Business Administration or Economics
- Previous relevant internship experience in Europe is a plus
- Positive mindset, engagement and attitude
- Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent communication skills
- Open for challenges and new experiences
- Strong focus on solutions and results-oriented execution
- Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
Please note that you must be enrolled in university in the Netherlands during the full period of your internship to be considered as a candidate.
