About this role
The Position
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by building strong, sustainable partnerships with key customers across your assigned territory. You will work closely with leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams to create mutual value, achieve commercial objectives, and deliver business results in line with company strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and profitability targets across key accounts within both broiler and layer segments.
- Identify, pursue, and successfully close new business opportunities through the execution of BIAH’s Integrated KAM and Customer Business Planning (CBP) programs.
- Consistently seek opportunities to expand business with existing customers while winning new opportunities through strategic account management.
- Deliver short and mid-term financial targets for your assigned customers and territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and management teams within customer accounts.
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and business priorities, and develop solutions that create value for both the customer and BIAH.
- Position BIAH as a trusted partner by identifying opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth.
- Lead the development of comprehensive customer solutions by combining BIAH products and services into compelling value propositions.
- Develop customer-specific growth strategies based on market analysis, competitive insights, and customer objectives.
- Create and execute Key Account Business Plans aligned with local avian business strategies and organizational goals.
- Optimize account penetration and maximize share of wallet through strategic planning and execution.
- Build and lead effective key account teams to support account growth and opportunity success.
- Ensure clear communication, alignment, and successful execution of agreed account strategies.
- Collaborate with CX teams, Business Unit Managers, Area Business Managers, Business Service Heads, and other stakeholders to deliver customer success.
- Align budgets, investments, and resources with account opportunities to maximize return on investment.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and business updates to support effective planning and decision-making.
- Manage commercial agreements, pricing discussions, and receivables with assigned accounts.
- Identify mutual growth opportunities and contribute to performance planning and development discussions for team members.
- Regularly assess account potential, sales performance, market share, and growth opportunities by product segment and species.
- Gather and analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to strengthen business strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and activity records within the CRM system.
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans to drive sustainable growth.
- Maintain effective customer engagement through planned account interactions and agreed contact frequency.
- Utilize data, customer insights, and digital tools to prioritize opportunities and maximize business impact.
- Ensure all administrative responsibilities, reporting requirements, and customer records are completed accurately and on time.
About our Future Employee
- Education : Bachelors degree, Masters degree Veterinary - Medicine / Economics/ Agriculture degree DVM / Animal Husbandry / Master of Science or Economics and/or Master of Business Administration is preferred.
